My Journey

Every movement, every breath, every touch is an act of healing.

My Story

I'm Liliia, a dedicated yoga teacher and massage therapist based in Tunbridge Wells. My journey with yoga began in a deeply personal way—through my struggles with chronic pain and self-acceptance. As a former dancer, I faced daily low back pain due to lordosis, and it was yoga that offered me the relief I needed. After countless hours of research and self-practice, I discovered that my pain had vanished entirely. But the benefits of yoga went far beyond physical healing.

At a time when I was battling with self-acceptance, partly due to weight gain from an abusive relationship, I found that yoga offered a path to mental and emotional healing as well. By focusing on respecting and being kind to myself, I lost weight and regained my self-love and confidence. This transformation was so profound that I felt a deep calling to help others experience the same healing.

I began my formal training at the Ukrainian Yoga School, where I honed my yoga practice and learned the art of massage therapy. By the end of the course, I was already working one-on-one with clients, sharing the benefits of yoga and bodywork. I then gained further experience working at a gym, where I eventually opened two yoga groups and started teaching private classes.

My commitment to deepening my knowledge led me to attend an anatomy yoga course, where I gained a comprehensive understanding of muscles and their functions. However, the war in Ukraine forced me to relocate to England. With the support of the kind people around me, I slowly built my business in Tunbridge Wells. I was fortunate to meet a Japanese massage and acupuncture therapist who generously shared his expertise with me, further enriching my skills.

One of my biggest dreams came true when I travelled to India to complete a 200-hour yoga teacher training in traditional Hatha and Ashtanga yoga. This experience solidified my belief in the power of yoga as a tool for holistic healing—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

On returning from my journey another beautiful opportunity came to me which led me to start deepening my understanding of Pranyama breath work. I began practising weekly with my teacher who I met in India. The breath work helped me to learn how to be in control of my thoughts and relieve my stress levels which in turn increased my energy and helped with my digestive issues.

I am deeply committed to my growth and development, practising yoga almost every day to ensure I can be the best possible example for my students. Whether you're looking to relieve pain, improve your physical health, or embark on a journey of self-discovery and self-love, I'm here to guide and support you every step.
